Dental Examination and Treatment Planning

At Centre Street Dental, we believe strongly in preventive care. Regular dental exams are the foundation of prevention. Because proper diagnosis ensures the right kind of care, we use DEXIS® Digital Diagnostic Imaging. Compared to regular film X-ray, Dexis digital X-ray uses only a fraction of the radiation. We will create an honest treatment plan with you that suits your needs, budget, and goals.

Oral Cancer Screening

Because we believe strongly in prevention, our yearly exams include a complementary oral examination of the tissues of the mouth as well as the head and neck to detect any suspicious areas. We use the DenMat® Sapphire Plus Lesion Detection scope for the early detection of oral lesions and cancer in suspicious areas.

Dental Hygiene Therapy and Treatment of Periodontal Disease

Our team of registered dental hygienists will assess the condition of your teeth and gums and customize a treatment plan to treat any conditions and maintain your dental health. Our goal is to make a healthy smile last a lifetime through education and preventive care.

Fillings

If a tooth is broken, cracked, or showing signs that tooth structure is lost and a cavity is forming, we can provide fillings to prevent the problem from getting worse or causing pain and restore the original structure and function of the tooth.

Root Canals

Root canal therapy is sometimes needed to save a tooth with an infection which would otherwise need to be removed. The procedure removes the infection from the tooth to relieve the pain of having an infected tooth, prevents the infection from spreading further, and preserves the tooth.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Our team of dentists wants you to feel comfortable and confident with your smile. We offer in office laser whitening, take home whitening kits, crowns, veneers, and composite buildups. Let us know your concerns and we will work with you to find a solution that fits your needs and budget.

Extractions and Dental Surgery

Our aim is to preserve and save natural teeth but, in some cases, it is necessary for them to be removed. From basic tooth removal to removal of wisdom teeth, our team can do most types of extractions. Our team will offer options to replace the missing tooth and we offer bone grafting (extraction site preservation) and dental implant placement.

Crowns and Bridges

Crowns are done to restore and protect a natural tooth that has been weakened, damaged, or has lost a lot of tooth structure. The crown acts as a cover to help prevent fractures and can provide an aesthetic result.

Dentures

Dentures don’t have to be an uncomfortable experience, if you are experiencing issues with your dentures come in for an appointment and we can see what we can do for you. Whether it is adjustments, relines, or fabrication of new dentures we can do it all.

Dental Implants

If you are looking to replace a single tooth or a couple teeth, implants may be right for you. Dental implants replace the root and crown of the tooth and can have the function and look of a natural tooth.

Invisalign

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear, removable aligners to straighten your teeth instead of using traditional wire braces. Invisalign uses 3D computer imaging to move teeth from their original position to a desired final position. Trays are custom made to move the teeth a small amount at a time to gradually shift teeth into the desired position. We are certified Invisalign providers and offer free consultations for existing patients to see if Invisalign is right for you.

Dentistry for Children

Our team loves working with children and we believe that starting dental care at an early age in a stress free environment is the best foundation for future dental health. We recommend seeing children at 1 year of age or 6 months after the first tooth erupts in order to monitor the development of teeth as well as to establish and develop good oral habits, prevent future dental issues, and can decrease any possible anxiety with seeing a dentist in the future. Our goal is to prevent and treat any dental issues that may be present. It is never too late to bring your child to the dentist.

Emergency Dental Care

If a tooth is painful, chipped, or keeping you up at night, it is a dental emergency. At Centre Street Dental we are available every day via email to answer any questions and make appointments as needed.

Nightguards

Nightguards are used to prevent jaw pain as well as damage and excessive wear to enamel that can be caused by clenching and grinding the teeth when we sleep. Nightguards are custom made appliances that work by putting a barrier between your teeth in order to cushion the teeth and jaw muscles

Botox for TMD

Botox can help ease muscle tension associated with teeth clenching and grinding the teeth. It can also assist with sculpting the lower face. Botox decreases the intensity, frequency, and duration of muscle pain associated with TMD. Treatment can last 3-5 months.
